National Museum in Kraków

In the permanent collection of the National Museum in Kraków

Secret Desk was made in only a few copies. One of them belongs to the permanent collection of the National Museum in Kraków, Poland's largest museum.

In 2017 the desk was shown at “#dziedzictwo” (#heritage) in the museum's Main Building, one of the largest exhibitions in the museum's history. Over seven months, from 23 June 2017 to 14 January 2018, around 70,000 visitors saw more than 650 works telling the story of Polish identity, art and design across the centuries. Secret Desk was among them.

After the exhibition the museum added the desk to its collection. Since December 2021 it has been on permanent display in the Szołayski House, in the Gallery of 20th and 21st Century Polish Design “Przedmioty” (Objects), alongside the most important works of Polish applied art.
